We work with you to develop a clear understanding of your short- and long-term
goals, learn from previous projects or experiences, analyze what similar
organizations are practicing, and internalize your business and technical
environment.
We communicate all business and technology drivers, and create
a scalable plan of action to execute agreed objectives, measure their success,
and prepare for future needs and opportunities.
We analyze user and audience needs, define technical and performance expectations,
and work with you to create high-level prototypes to test and refine ideas.
We establish a stable, predictable platform for incorporating existing and
future information or requirements. Initial feedback based on mock-ups and
prototype designs helps to isolate and measure usability and acceptance to
ensure successful development efforts.
Once the blueprint is complete, we enter an iterative development phase
focusing on information architecture, interface design, user interaction,
and engineering. We develop the fully functional prototype of the site or
application, and integrate existing information and content.
We document
style and development guidelines used throughout the develop phase, and create
reusable libraries (templates, images, and code) for future development.
A working beta site or application is completed at the end of this phase.
With a beta site "in-hand", we assemble the final product for production
quality deployment. Integration with existing applications and systems and
deployment to the production environment is addressed during this phase,
if required.
We perform testing and quality assurance to finalize the
deliverable, and work with you to ensure your team understands the necessary
maintenance and management information.
We now begin to measure the success of the goals and objectives that were
defined during the Visualize phase. Project documentation and materials
are completed, and we present our ideas and strategies on how to extend
the solutions currently in place.
The Manage phase is critical to the
success of adaptive systems, for it is here that we monitor the forces that
continue to move your organization in different directions. We work
with you to explore or identify new opportunities and ways to expand your
vision, and manage change.
